About the West Metro Chapter

The fall of Roe v. Wade is a devastating blow to our reproductive freedoms, but it is not the end of the fight. Critical decisions about reproductive freedom are now up to politicians in each individual state. The only path to full reproductive rights in Minnesota is to get pro-choice candidates elected to the Minnesota House, Senate, and executive offices. We must put pro-choice people in the majority in all three branches, to ensure that pro-choice legislation makes it to the Governor’s desk and is signed into law. RFAN West Metro will get you into the right places, at the right times, to help make this happen. Collectively, our leadership team has over 15 years of experience working with local campaigns.  We know what to do, what will be most effective, and how to organize. In addition, we are fierce. We are resolute. We will not let you down.

RFAN West Metro will provide campaign support (door knocking, dropping literature at doors, etc) to pro-choice candidates in the following Senate Districts 37, 42 and 45. Each of the Senate Districts includes two House races (A & B).  Thus, we will support a total of 9 races:  Senate 37, 42, 45 and House 37A, 37B, 42A, 42B, 45A and 45B.

Generally speaking, our area extends from Maple Grove, Plymouth, Minnetonka westward as far as Independence and Minnetrista. You do not need to live in these areas to join our team. However, if you would like to learn if you live in these districts, please visit this website and enter your address.
