94th Legislative Session, Week 20
Still “On Hold”
Just like last week, the Legislature’s work has continued, and some working groups have completed their assignments. But notably, the health policy is still not finished. It’s looking more likely that a special session won’t happen until late next week or maybe even the following week. You can track the working group progress and read the documents here.
Key Health Updates
Sexual and Reproductive Health Services (SRHS) Funding – Still in limbo. We need to keep the pressure on—contact your lawmakers.
MinnesotaCare Expansion for Undocumented Adults – No final deal. The only proposal on the table is for coverage for undocumented children, not the full expansion we need.
Federal Threats Loom – Congress just passed a bill slashing funding for essential health services. It’s a direct attack on Title X, Medicaid, and more.
Call to Action
The fight isn’t over. Make your voice heard—call your legislators and tell them that health care is a human right.
