About Pro-Choice Minnesota
Pro-Choice Minnesota is dedicated to building and sustaining a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee reproductive freedom for all people, including family planning, sexuality education, maternal health care, and safe, legal abortion. We operate with both a 501(c)(3) and a 501(c)(4) organization. The Pro-Choice Minnesota Foundation (501(c)(3)) conducts public education and research, while Pro-Choice Minnesota (501(c)(4)) is a grassroots lobbying organization. The Pro-Choice Minnesota Election Fund is our political action committee.
Position Overview
Campus organizers are responsible for developing and sustaining a pro-choice presence on their college campus. Organizers will work throughout the year using a variety of tactics to educate and activate students about reproductive rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement campus educational campaigns on reproductive healthcare, rights, freedom, and justice.
- Host pro-choice events on campus centered around abortion access, fake abortion clinics (CPCs) awareness, and civic engagement.
- Recruit and engage student volunteers.
- Participate in orientation and monthly check-ins with other Pro-Choice Minnesota campus organizers.
Qualified Applicants Will:
- Support the mission of Pro-Choice Minnesota.
- Express a willingness to engage with fellow students about reproductive rights.
- Possess strong oral and written communications skills.
- Commit to the internship until the end of the academic year.
