Our Volunteer Clinic Escort Program trains activists to safely escort people seeking abortion care into abortion clinics. Clinic escorts are a friendly face and a barrier between patients and protesters, helping patients access reproductive health care free from harassment, intimidation, and shame.

About Our Program

We currently escort at Whole Woman's Health in Bloomington, which is the only independent abortion clinic in the Twin Cities. Our trained volunteers provide crucial support to patients during what can be a vulnerable time.

As a clinic escort, you'll receive comprehensive training on how to safely and effectively support patients. Our escorts learn de-escalation techniques, understand legal boundaries, and become part of a supportive community dedicated to reproductive justice.

What you'll do as a clinic escort:

Provide a calm, supportive presence for patients
Help patients navigate safely through protesters
Offer practical assistance like umbrella coverage
Work as part of a coordinated team
Follow established safety protocols
