After the House attached the Super Gag Rule to the Health & Human Services Omnibus Bill (HF 1681) bill, anti-choice members tried and failed to attach the Super Gag Rule to the Senate bill. The session ended without the measure. Congratulations to all activists who were instrumental in stopping this extreme bill!
In a procedural move (to uphold the decision of the Chair that the Super Gag Rule was not germane to the bill), the following senators voted against considering the Super Gag Rule amendment for a floor vote. Their vote stopped the Super Gag Rule in its tracks. Please take time to thank them.
